Engineers have begun work on the Harbour Row
development in Britain’s Financial Harbour. The harbour
is built on 380,000 square metres of land that has been
reclaimed from the sea. It is a process in which Bahrain
leads the world.
The new development will cost approximately $150
million, and it will include luxurious
residential units and a promenade
with trendy shops and restaurants. The
residential units will include flats with
one, two or three bedrooms, as well as
penthouses for customers to choose from,
while the restaurants on the promenade
promise a distinctive ‘al fresco’ dining
experience.
A spokesperson claimed that the
development will provide a connection
to the historic neighbourhood of Bahrain
while appealing to residents who seek a
contemporary, urban lifestyle.
Bahrain’s Financial Harbour also includes
the Harbour Towers and Harbour Mall.
The Harbour Towers provide more than
53 floors of office space, wile the Harbour
Mall contains 22,000 square metres of retail
space that is connected to the towers.
The harbour is located next to the King
Faisal Highway, near popular landmarks
such as the National Bank of Bahrain, Abraj
Al Lulu, and the Bahrain Trade Center.
