people to publish their work, the publishing industry may
collapse, especially since book sales are decreasing. Why
would anyone work for free?
The ways teenagers like to read are changing. 64% of US
teenagers mainly read online. The writer of the short story is
‘A Place on Earth’ only received $38.49 for the 2,118,200 trial
download of the story in one quarter. I suggest looking at fairer
ways to reward authors and publishers. I want us to follow the
example of the Swedish people. In Sweden, 4 out of 5 pay to
download. For one Swedish independent publishing, Karlson
Publishing, 80% of their income now comes from downloaded
books.

deserve.
